miami goes WAY up
boston comes back, takes the lead and is in control
miami goes WAY up to start the 4th
boston comes back.....

only to see rondo miss a layup and allen miss 2ft's with 2 mins left

come on.....really.....it almost looks scripted!

96-92

it's like the manchurian candidate (player) went into effect and they got buzzed.

allen misses ft
rondo misses layup
allen misses ft
allen misses ft
garnett misses ft
garnett misses ft

then they just jack up a bunch of wild 3's and guess what

they dont score a point the final 2:30

comical

It's always scary for me to bet on a team that's up 3-0. They know they can take a game off and still win the series easily, so you never know what kind of effort you're going to get from them. Then again, betting on a team down 0-3 is just as scary...

I really don't watch the NBA anymore, and the above bolded section is pretty much why. There's really no strategy in the game anymore. It's all individual players doing their own thing. I don't know how anyone could find that entertaining.

I didn't watch game 3 of this series, but just out of curiosity I checked the play-by-play on ESPN for the last few minutes. Almost every shot in the last 3 minutes by the C's was a 3. And it's not like they were down 10, the game was close the whole way. How can coaches let them get away with that shit?

gjn23......not sure if you thought I was being sarcastic....but I was completely agreeing. Had the Celtics +3 (bought 1 1/2 pts) and just amazing to watch one of best FT shooters of ALL TIME miss 3 in a row, then Garnett misses 2. I had forgotten about the gimme layup Rondo missed and then yeah they jack up 3's left and right.

Either way, its a damn tough way to lose.

It was quite obvious that the Celtics were giving this game away on purpose. Why? Thats the question

If they gave it away on purpose then why the hell did they make a comeback and take the lead going into the thrid quarter.. People even Ray Allen miss Free Throws. It is basketball. Remember when Karl Malone missed 2 free throws late to win a game vs. MJ and the Bulls in the finals. I suppose that was "scripted"too.. I do believe that there are refs who I question but multi millionaire basketball players do miss shots.. The ball does hit the rim and rim out. And everyone forgets to mention who was the best player on the court in the 4th Q. Dwayne Wade...
