Don't know about proud, but the Mormon Church didn't do it, I did..................it's a very long story. It ended when 2 cops knocked on my door in 1971. I was a 24 year old hippy at the time.

This is how naive I am on the whole pot thing. We had a customers car in the garage one day and I needed to find the Owners Card and Insurance Card. So I'm digging around in the glove box and there is a plastic bag in there. I pull it out and said "What is this?" and the other mechanic says "Grass" and I said " Why would someone have a bag of grass in their glove box?" Then I understood. :facepalm: That was the first time I had ever seen it.

I don't smoke pot anymore, but there was a time I'd start smoking it when I woke up in the morning. This started in the summer of 1969 after I got out of the Army. In 1971 I was introduced to Coke, I loved Coke. Remember doing Coke in NYC on the bar in Studio 54..............those were the days.
