This year has been a bad one for the teaser wheel due to an inordinate number of blow-outs. I have not played any except the one posted early in the season, whcih was a winner...
This week I feel presents some opportunites and my "HUB" is San Diego Chargers +5.5 at Titans...using the 7 point spread. Better in every aspect of the game except home field...
Will "wheel" this with the following games...not every game as the original theory calls for...
1. Bills [pick] - come on you guys out there picking Miami +7...get real...Miami has scored one offensive touchdown in three games with Beck at QB...at Buffalo...in the wind and cold...and with Lynch returning at Running Back...2 units
2. Jags -3.5 at home - first rate and improving QB Garrard and having been stung at INDY last week is more than enough incentive...3 units
3. Cowboys/Lions over 43 ... two good offenses and I see the Boys maybe scoring the over by themselves...1 unit
4. Raiders +17.5 ... improving D and decent running game for the boys from Oakland keeps this close...1 unit...how is Favre's arm?
5. Steelers +17 ... Pats are coming home but we have #1 Defense with a lot of incentive..big worry is Ben R. throwing 5 interceptions...too many points...1 unit
6. Cardinals/Seattle Under 51.5 - Cards three best players hurt and will run Edgerin James many times to try and control the clock...Seattle wins a close game 24-20...2 units.
7. Vikings -1.5 ... are you kidding me ... 3 units
8. Colts -2 ... Boller vs. Manning ?? ... Colts D ranked high aganist pass...2 units
9. Saints +3.5 ... Brees shaping into form...not much offense for the home team...2 units...
