The Ring Will Easily Win the Box Office This Weekend

I find Boxofficereport is usually dead on and they forecast a win by The Ring over Abandon by $7 million and $9 million over Formula 51. Also at HSX they are dumping shares of Abandon and Formula 51 like there is no tomorrow.

I find it hard to believer that you can get +150 on The Ring -$7 million over Abandon and +125 over Formula 51.

OTX which is the Hollywood bible is projecting:

The Ring at $11 million and Abandon/Formula 51 from $5-6 million each.

We shall see.

Another ridiculous bet offer at OLY. Everyone seems to be all over Jackass vs. Ghost Ship. Ghost Ship is being advertised everywhere and these "Ghost" movies are always blockbusters just before Halloween.

Boxofficereport predicts $3 million more for Ghost Ship, Box Office Guru predicts $5 million more and other sites have Ghost ship pegged between $2 million to $7 million more than Jackass. Yet Ghost Ship is +140 with a spread of $2.2 million??????

Ghost Ship seems like a great bet IMO.

Just back from dinner with bro-in-law and sister and was bragging on your capping skills with "Ring" since they don't follow sports at all but are big into movies. Saw your post on "Ghost Ship" and immediately called them to get their take....their 17 yr daughter said all her friends are going to see "Jackass" this weekend...everybody is talking about it. Why the attraction to this and not Ghost Ship is beyond me.
