Will another year a Michigan mean another good day for the Rousch team??

They have had some good success here as last race they ran 1.Edwards, 3.Ragan, 4.Biffle, 5.Kenseth, 10.Mcmurray and none of them qualified all that great(Biffle 9th was best).

The early Michigan race last year, Rousch ran 3,7,8,10.

Edwards and Kenseth know how to get top 5's at Michigan like no others.

In fact the best average finish at Michigan right now:
1. Edwards 6.56
2. Kenseth 8.21
3. Smoke 10.21
4. Ragan 12.50
5. Biffle 13.17

So 4 of the top 5 best average finishes(Smoke exception) belong to Rousch.

Food for thought.

And Kyle Busch is not a fan of Michigan for some reason and Hendrick cars have not faired all that great at Michigan.

#48 avg finish is 14.36 (probably his worst oval)
#24 avg finish is 18.21

would you put Labonte and Menard and JAime Mac in there , for MAtch up purposes only? Paulie isn't too far from home as well as Kesolowski, if he is driving this W/E ? :0corn

You are right no "C" in Roush and I always leave the Fenway off just because they got no business in this sport and never seem to be represented at any race.:shrug:

As for matchups with guys like Menard and Labonte the one good thing about those types is they really don't improve there cars much if any from what they do in practice so it pretty easy to get an idea of how they are gonna run. They may tweak a slight bit sometimes for the good and some for the bad, but what you see in practice is usually what you get in races. Practice avg speeds are what is best to go by not top speed so much.

A note on Menard, he has passed the most cars of any driver on average(13.6) at Michigan and average finish is 21.20 so he is worth looking at with a decent practice and the right matchup.

And Keselowski is not racing in Cup race this weekend.

As a big Red Sox hater, I can't say Fenway ever when associated with ROUSH, but I am glad that money is there, especially for next year when one of the big 3, I am certain will move to Yates.

Well with the team rule changes then somebody on Roush has to go.
Only allowed 4 cars per team.
Roush has Edwards,Kenseth,Biffle,Ragan,Mcmurray.

I have not heard anything but you would think with the success Stewart and Newman are having that they would add another car and want one of these drivers as well, but that is a guess.
Or maybe Martin Truex who appears to be heading elsewhere after the season.

This one should not be as bad for him because it is only 400 miles on a flat superspeedway.
The road courses are coming up which will bring his back issues into question. Tough to go against Gordon on a road coarse though.

I will be at Sonoma next weekend, true hard not to bet against Rainbow Boy on a Roadie, but he is a pretzel right now.

I like the #17 Play, but then Kenseth is my favorite driver so I always like him
