2007 started for me with one of the most agonizing bets I've ever placed. It was chronicled here:

For those who don't want to sift through a year-old thread, the situation was that four specific results had to happen for the Tennessee Titans to make the 2006 NFL playoffs. By parlaying all four moneylines, you'd get odds of about 50-1. I placed $100 on the parlay and watched 3 of 4 games hit, including two sizable underdogs. Only the darned Titans lost.
This season we have a similar situation, only the odds are not quite as long. There are three specific results needed by the Titans to reach the playoffs:
-TITANS over Jets on 12/23
-BENGALS over Browns on 12/23
-Titans over COLTS on 12/30
Now, this is a bit of a tough situation because I have to bet on the same team in two different games. To solve this problem, I'm parlaying the 12/23 games and then if they hit I'm going to take all of that money and put it on the Titans moneyline the next week.
I have to tell you that last year's bet has really stuck in my craw and I feel that this is a chance to get some level of satisfaction. I won't be winning anywhere near the 5 dimes that I would have won had the Patriots just laid down in a meaningless game against the Titans last year like they were supposed to, but I should at least approach a nickel in winnings.
Without any further ado, here is the first bet of my second annual Titans Playoff Parlay:
TITANS/BENGALS over Jets/Browns moneyline parlay (+172) $110/$189
