The Shield Season Finale

Supposedly the 2nd to last season. :com:

Wonder if FX will make up for it with Thief?

the season is not over, they will start the second part of this season in january. there is supposably 7 or so episodes left.

thief looks pretty good as well, fx seems to always have 1 great show each season whether it is the shield, nip tuck or the fire one with dennis leary.

So FX called that episode of The Shield the season finale for no particular reason. :shrug:

shield is a great show...looking forward to next year.....

i will check out the thief since i'm a fan of andre braugher (sp ?) from his days on the show homicide.........

If they are picking up the story line next January, thats the next season, also given that this was the "season finale". None of this Sopranos BS where its half season strung out over 8 years.

Homicide was a fantastic and so was Andre

they were supposed to do one final year with 20 episodes and call it quits.

they instead for some reason decided to break it up into one final season and one encore one with the final 8 episodes to wrap it all up. not sure why or when it will air, but someone said january and i guess i'll believe that for now.

if forest whitaker doesn't win an emmy, something is wrong. the guy was phenomenal as the guy you love to hate.

pretty shocked to see lem go, but when he was alone in the warehouse, no big surprise.

great great show, sad to see it go.

will also give thief a try.
