Cyclones are good no doubt, but i'm not getting all the love for them in this tourney. I'm seeing final 4 etc.....just not seeing it. My team is Utah! Going out on a limb and saying they knock off Duke. Utes got if not the best point guard in the nation plus a big man in the middle who's darn good. Recipe for going far in this tourney....
That region is garbage
Duke shouldn't have been a 1 seed and of course gets to start in their own backyard (hey, just like greg gumble said about arizona getting to play in "their own backyard"...1400 miles away in Portland...fwiw Omaha is closer than portland)
Gonzaga always looses early
Isu plays no defense so everyone they play will have a chance (fun team to watch and will be pulling for them)
Gtwn is a 6 not a 4 and is perennial 1st round upset
Utah not bad but final 4 good? (Maybe in this region)
SMU coukd lose to ucla, could make run in this region

I'm with Hud on liking Utah to make a run. To your question, I think it will come down to Duke vs. Zags (I stand on a very sturdy limb :lol
and Duke to the Final Four. I would not be surprised at all to see Utah there, though, and think both Duke and Utah can beat the Zags (but I always undervalue them).

Just too much love/face time from the media for Hoiberg and Niang coming in. They were eating up the celebrity aspect. Reality time in Ames, Iowa. Tough loss for many.
So we have a 5 and an 11 into the sweet 16 from this garbage region and a 1 seed already out from this side of the bracket
