Where it is real F ing COLD
Living in cheddar land on the Border you can imagine what my FB looks like. That was a total screwing to the Pack but I don't feel bad for one second. There is no team who has enjoyed the NFL and officiating up their ass more than the Green Bay Packers. This team has been the beneficiary of every call for years. At least it will be this week in which they get a written apology by the NFL which has happened to the Vikes twice after leaving Leambeau. Does this make up for it? No but it is a little more satisfying.

P.S.

Let's also not forget about the horrible pass interference call they called on Seattle which kept the drive alive on Packer's second TD in the 4th quarter. They should of been punting.

This from a Viking fan. Shows the cluelessness of those that hate the Packers and are so jealous of their success, it clouds their judgement.

That said, I woud feel the same way as you if this happened to the Vikings.

Clouds my judgement? i agree it was a terrible call, just don't feel bad for them. Seattle was nailed with a terrible PI themselves, not as bad as the last play of coarse

I agree with you 100%. Yes, Green Bay got jobbed, but they have gotten the benefit of calls going their way for years, especially at home. I have zero sympathy for the Packers though, and I have no dog in the fight.

I'm just kidding you, of course. I know you know that. Not that I am not upset about the horrible call last night, but you are right. It is certainly not the end of the world.
However, I will bet right now it will make a difference in the ultimate makeup of the playof f seedings. Mark my words!

All i can do is shake my head at you. Jealous is a nasty thing isn't it. Huge packer fan here and i feel bad for you having to be a viking fan. You say GB has been getting calls for years??? really??? Then u say that end of game call makes up for the pass interference on Seattle?? you are nuts....I agree that was a bad call BUT how about the roughing the passer and GB making an INT...awful call. How about 1st and 30 then pass interference on GB?? Not even close. How about off interference on tate at end?? I am actually a fan of football as well....Just cus its GB you love how it ended?? i HATE Minn and Dallas but if it was them that got robbed i would tell u they got screwed and deserved to win.....I'm not a homer like you where GB never does wrong. I understand tho coming from a viqueen fan with a team that has NEVER won anything.

Um did you guys read the second line? I agree the Pack were screwed, yeah they were screwed the whole night. I just don't feel bad, I enjoyed it. I really really enjoyed the hell out of it. The calls have gone the Packs way for a long time, just not last night.

I understand. I would have enjoyed it if the Vikings got screwed. However, your vision is skewed by hating the Packers. They have never gotten any special consideration from the refs and just to say that shows how biased you are.

They have gotten plenty of calls in the past 15 years, Lambeau field is a shaky place to play. I could go on and on. I usually can admit when the Packers get screwed, last night was one of them but it is far and few between. I'm glad someone outside of the state like Longhorn agreed with me.

Goodell will not overturn the call. He can't. Bad as the call is, it is still a judgement call. The only way he would overturn is if something comes to light that would show that the official involved (Lance Easley) has some kind of interest in the outcome of the game, which is unlikely.

Most of the fun of football involves these kind of exchanges between fans. It's all good. I still hate the Vikings. Most of their fans just don't understand football, having been brought up in the shelter of the Humpty Dump.

Yeah the Humpty Sucks.. If this would of happened to the Vikes, the Packer fans would of been brutal too. I do it in all good fun. It's been 3 years since we could give any shit. The Packers will rebound from this and still be among the top of the NFC. It's just funny today

I had the under, so not a money thing for me. I hate betting on the Pack because when they lose, it is like middling yourself. I love betting on the Vikings when they are underdogs, in hopes that they cover but still lose. If they win, at least I win my bet. If they lose, I'm happy even though I lost my bet.

I hate betting the Pack when they are favored cause they may win by 3 and not cover. Double Whammy. When I bet a favorite I usually hope they lose outright if they don't cover.

I don't think people not from around WI would believe how upsetting that call is making people. It's bad here, I wonder what Green Bay is like today. On a side note my buddy has an extra hotel room next to the stadium for this weekend. I am thinking about going and watching the games at a bar next to the stadium.
