The Swami, aka Chris Berman, is having a tough season. Not that his picks are very seriously thought out or anything, it's more just a fun feature....but maybe there's some fade value in this. He picks:

Philly to win 23-17
San Fran to win 27-24
San Diego to win 24-23
Carolina to win 17-16

wouldn't be surprised if the swami goes 3-1 or 4-0 this week. that percentage is pretty bad and everything has a way of working back to the norm. i would bet the house the swami or anyone for that matter who was 30some % so far would end up the season closer to 50% than 30%, so it's gotta turn around some time.

i guess i am trying to say i see better value in fading someone who went 5-1 last week, than someone who went 1-5.
