Last season, Fletcher noticed that the White Sox, if they won, won by more than 1 run. In fact they were second in the majors for percentage on runline winners.

Boston 94 wins/80 RL wins/85.1%
ChiSox 81 wins/66 RL wins/81.5%

Not to mention Colon was 9-0 with a 1.55 ERA in 10 day-game starts last season.

Yes, I am a huge fan, but I don't usually play the Sox. This is not a homer pick. I don't think the Sox start out 0-2, and Colon will be ready to go.

At carib it's White Sox -1.5 -120.

Playing it for 1 unit.

marra- do you have the list of how teams fared on the runline last year? (specifically looking for teams that DID play the most one-run games)

san francisco and arizona strike me as two teams that seemed to play a lot of 1 run gms last year.

No prob. As I posted in Bobby's thread, I will NEVER lay the big juice with the Sox this year. This is a team that: When they are on, will put 7-10 runs up there. When they are off, with their defense, are NOT going to win a lot of games by one run. This is a feast or famine team. Don't lay anything above -150 with this team. Playing the runline as a -120 to -170 favorite should pay off in the long run. Watch out for Garland this year. He should have some great value on the runline for a while.
