I live in a pretty quiet area of Arlington, Texas. There has been little to no BLM protests, marches, or riots. So the conversation below from the nextdoor app is pretty entertaining...
Rob: I was at Kroger and a guy has on no mask and a gun on his hip. Should I have been worried?
Cee: Yes people are crazy right now, he was low key daring you to say something. Just leave the area or let management know. From your previous post, I would think you would pat him on the back.
Stephen: The fact that you posted this proves you should be worried.
Charlie: Texas is now an open carry state and although I do not agree with wearing no mask I don?t think it is cause for worry. Just keep a good distance away in case this happens again to prevent getting infected.
Lisa: Don?t you have better things to do?
Scott: Charlie is correct on Texas and open carry gun with a permit. I personal do not like open carry but ever once in a while you see someone doing that. Not sure on Kroger's policy on guns but they can post no guns in their store.
Anthony: I might of been more worried if he wore a mask to cover his face and a gun on his hip. In the old days they were considered masked robbers but now just normal shoppers.
Laura: Alert management- they can check license and address mask compliance if they choose to.
Anthony: You do know this is Texas and 4/5 people in your grocery store probably have a gun on them you just don?t see it
Stephen: Store management will not and can not check a person's LTC. If an establishment does not have 30.06 and or 30.07 signs posted then carry is permitted. Police can check LTC as needed.
