you`re killin` me.....liberals love louisville and winona ryder?......lmao.....her lawyer never heard the phrase"plea bargain"....could have gotten off with a misdemeanor and restitution but that dumb greek geragos had to bow his neck....ended up costing her $250,000 in atty`s fees,a felony conviction and a public humiliation.....

Actually, she was never offered a misdemeanor plea, despite Geragos' efforts to get one. The District Attorney refused to take a plea less than felony burglary.
"The case went to trial after neither side would budge during plea negotiations - prosecutors insisting that Ryder plead to a felony charge and defense attorneys holding out for a misdemeanor." -Los Angeles Times, Today, page B18.
But never mind all this lawyer stuff, the question is, "Will Winona be wearing the $750 Marc Jacobs thermal top, carrying her $540 Natori handbag, when she reports to Caltrans on the first day of freeway garbage pick up?"

greta van susteren reported that a plea bargain for less than a felony conviction was offered early on...and that geragos and the d.a. got into a pissing contest because the d.a. reported that they had tape of her cutting tags off of clothes items ...they didn`t ....they started calling the security guards liars,stated she had an account with the store(which she didn`t) and the thing spiralled downhill from there ....maybe she was talking about just one of the charges..whatever....that`s what i heard...i could be wrong.....g.l. buddy....very funny...
