I've read that Phil Cuzzi is scheduled for home plate game #1.
Big strike zone for Cuzzi and more of an under-ump; not quite in the
John Hirschbeck or Doug Eddings range but the next best thing for under-leans.
I'm seeing contradictory reports on wild--either out to right or in from right-center,
in the medium range (7mph) so if Cuzzi's zone makes the batters have to swing then
who knows what happens...pretty low total of 7 for 'stros recent BP troubles.

Crew chief Gerry Davis is the opposite of Cuzzi; smaller zone and for over-leaners.
He should be calling balls and strikes in the third game, which will obviously avoid
both Keuchel and Verlander, not to mention Kershaw, but Morton has looked great
and I suspect that Yu Darvish--no slouch--will be starting for the Dodgers.

Should be a great series.

How can Diaz possibly be in the mix. One of THE worst.

UNBELIEVABLE. This clown is absolutely terrible.
I can remember this last season the was behind the plate in an A's game and did not have a clue. Even the announcers were saying how bad he was.

MLB is just asking for it.
