Do things like this actually help you make sense of your ridiculous beliefs?

See those snowflakes in that cartoon? My ridiculous belief tells me that an omnipotent, omniscient God created those. I believe that. I find that both awesome and exciting. The thought that there is a magnificent, magnanimous, beneficent designer who oversees the whole of His creation is almost too exciting for words. The truth of the matter is that I am nothing and He is everything. I'm just a worm, but He is worthy to be praised. Why? Because there is no one like Him. Care to know Him? His name is Jesus Christ. Call upon Him and he will answer your call.

Blessed be His holy name.

I'm sorry for whatever it is that you can't forgive yourself for. I hope you get what you need out of religion, but I don't need it.

Actually, Buddy, a bit of moisture and temperature below freezing creates snowflakes.

But, if your God is all powerful, and can do anything at all He chooses to do, then Hell and Satan must exist because your God wants them to.

So you believe in a God who wants some people to burn forever in the fires of Hell.

And you believe in a God who will stand idly by while a small child is gang raped.

And you believe in a God who allows starvation, pestilence and wars when, with a snap of His fingers, he could eliminate those things.

And you believe in a God who condemns imperfect people, who He created imperfect, to suffer mental illness.

I think your God pretty much sucks.

However I did call on Jesus today. He'll be here this afternoon to clean my gutters.

You'd be better off praying to the Great Cockroach.

You are a perfect example that even God occasionally makes a mistake.
