MY PLAYS ARE:

CUBBIES EVEN: The cubs are coming from a sweep to their city rivals. They pitched great all series long and Alfosnso Soriano is red hot. Francis is pitching great but he has had trouble in his career pitching at Wrigley Field he has a 9.19 ERA in 15 innings pitched. Colorado had to make the trip from Toronto and the Cubs just move two blocks, I think there is good value on the cubbies tonight.

DODGERS -120 : the dodgers are finally done with interleague play, THEY JUST SUCK AT IT, now they have their big gun and they are playing a very important series against Arizona. Penny has a 6-2 record with a 1.88 ERA against a very tough guy in Owings who did not do well against them last time around, there is no reason to believe Penny is going to let down in this game.

BOSTON -130 : Boston is by far the best team in baseball. tavarez has been pitching great lately and he is trying to win his third game in a row and his 5th game in 8 games. Weaver pitch great against a very poor pittsburg team, so what, he is the same weaver of always and with the potent lineup I really do not think he is going to be able to have a good game. Tavares has a 1.98 ERA against SEATTLE and Weaver has a 6.75 ERA against BOSTON in his careers. The best team in baseball at -130 has a lot of value for me against a very inconsistent pitcher.

MY PLAY IS PADRES EVEN:

Germano has been great all year long , he has prove that he belongs in the majors and he is a very big part of what the Padres are doing this year. The opposite can be said about Lincecum, I mean he needs to get some more time, he could be a very good pitcher in years toi come but right now I do not thimk I can place some money on his hands until he shows otherwise.

Like the picks and writeup as I'm on all your other games as well. Except the Cubs. Sure Francis has the inflated ERA vs. the Cubs in 3 appearances. 2 of those appearances were in 2005 and one was in 2006.

So let me ask you, who in the Cubs battery is in the lineup now that was in the lineup in 2005/06 ? Ramirez (is he well enough to play 3B), Derek Lee, and Ryan Theriot was decent (2 for 6) in that Sept 2006 game with 3 RBI's.

Soriano is hot, for sure, but the rest of the Cubs bats are not. Soriano can hit lead-off homers all he wants, but in my opinion the Cubs will need to score 6-7 times in order to beat this Colorado team looking to get back on track after being swept in Toronto. Cubs are currently batting just over .200 vs. Lefties in their last 10 (.238 overall) Cubs are the perfect solution for Colorado to get healthy and to start another winning streak.

Also worth noting is the Cubs suck bad on game 1 of a series in Wrigley.

GL to you though, i'm on the Rocks small ... just thought I'd share my take on the game.

thanks a lot on the cubs game. I was going to play the rockies(and LA) BIG until i saw your post so i passed.


I am with you on LA(i also like them) but will pass on Boston because this other capper who is 12-1 on 10 unit plays in another forum is on it.


Again thanks for saving me some cash on the rockies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully you sweep and LA comes threw for us
