(WGR 550) - Sabres goaltender Jocelyn Thibault puts his undefeated record on the line when he makes his second start of the season at 7:30 p.m. tonight against Florida at HSBC Arena, but an unexpected player will not be on the ice for Buffalo.
Jaroslav Spacek reinjured his shoulder in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Bruins in Boston, opening the door for newly-signed Nolan Pratt to enter the line-up. Pratt will wear No. 4, though Lindy Ruff was non-committal as to how much he'll play.
Thibault won his only other start, a 5-4 win over Toronto on Oct. 15 at HSBC Arena. He made 21 saves in the victory. Tonight's game ends a streak of six consecutive starts for Ryan Miller.
Michael Ryan will suit up for Buffalo, moving Andrew Peters to the healthy scratch list.
