The under 190 in the Bost/Tor game tonight has some possiblities:
-The 3 meetings between these teams this season:
Nov. 11 Tor won at Bost 91-89 = 180
Dec. 2 Bost won at Tor 85-69 = 154
Jan. 21 Bost won at Bost 106-97 = 203
-Offensively Bost averages 96 pts/gm and Tor 92 pts/gm
-Defensively Bost allows an average of 94 pts/gm and Tor 92 pts/gm
-Both ways you slice the averages (188 or 186) it's under tonight's total line of 190.
-This line was late coming out due to questions about the Celts' Pierce, Walker and Battie.
Pierce---hacked on the wrist in the Bucks game has a sprain that he says, "I've just got to play through it right now!"
Walker---has a sore knee & the flu.
Battie---may not even see the floor tonight with a hip injury.
-Like the Celtic's website says: The team comes limping, coughing and icing their way into tonight's contest at Toronto.
-Hakeem the Deam is out for the Raptors.....so they lose his 8 pt/gm average. However, Clark (averaging 10) has played well when Hakeem has been sidelined this season.
I really think the Raptors will try and slow the pace of this game down. Slower pace favors the Raptors. That combined with the walking-wounded of the Celtics......I will go with the under in this one.
Play'n---->Bost/Tor under 190
