1. A.P. is still the #1 back in football.

2. Worst career move goes to Larry Foote. Cut by the Steelers and going home to Detroit. He wants to rebuild his hometown Lions team. The Saints hung 45 on you today, good luck with that.

3. The Bengals STILL know how to grab defeit out of the hands of victory. Merry Xmas Denver.

4. The Chiefs give up over 500 yds to the high flying Ravens offense. How bad is that squad?

5. Delhomme is not the answer in Carolina. After last years playoff debacle, he came back strong today to put up 4 int's. and 7/17 for a whopping 73 yds.

This is an ongoing observation, feel free to add to the list....

random thoughts...

random thoughts...

Arizona doesn't seem to be the same team they were last year, as expected.

Philly played well today, but might have a QB problem in the upcoming weeks. Kolb and Vick aren't the answer.

Pitt is for real again this season, will be a contender all season long.

It looks like the Jets have a QB on their hands.

Carolina Panthers are a jekyll and hyde team, good one year and bad the next. This year I think bad.

Dallas played well today, but had their stumbles as well.

Indy may have won, but that performance was unimpressive.

6. It's early, but I suspect Mike Singletary has finally gotten the Niners to play defense. With St. Louis, Arizona, and Seattle in that division it makes SF an automatic division contender.

The Texans need a new qb
Mark Sanchez is the real deal

21 points and 1 offensive play ( in a certain span in the 2nd Q ) from Philly can change the UNDER in a hurry

The prevent defense only prevents the under from coming in ( Thanks Giants )

The Texans probaly wish for David Carr

8. Just how insane are the Bears? Giving up 2 first round picks and a 3rd rounder for Cutler. Insane or desperate, that's alot to give up for a non-superstar QB. Tonight, so far... Denver fans are laughing.

another "random" thought.....

another "random" thought.....

Win or lose the Bears are sure to be a contender in this division, always have liked to pull for this team, only don't when they play my boys.

Agree, Bears/Vikings are the class of that division. Edge to the Vikings, with A.P. and Favre. Should be real good games with those two.
