definitely could have happened that they would just run out the clock...would have loved to see it unfold sans the fumble

They were still too far out for a FG attempt, but maybe if they picked up 1 FD, then were stopped. Otherwise they run out the clock like most said.
It was precarious but they were out of Carney's range at the time.
