- - Nothing much appeals to me during the week until these two have a chance to show their colors when Colorado closes at home.

Iowa State(-3) over Kansas (1*)
- - 131. Easy to rattle off supposed edges for either underrated side in this one. The psychology of pressure during the last two weeks has been squarely on the shoulders of a Kansas program that is not quite there yet. On the eve of the game, an ISU team that never quit was doused with an unexpected jolt of purpose with all the trimmings. Hard not to rate this as one of the most intriguing matchups of the year in the Big XII. Taking a side.
