RALEIGH, N.C. -- Two people are dead following a shooting at a tailgating party near Carter-Finley Stadium Saturday evening.
The shooting happened in a parking lot at Trinity Road and Youth Center Drive at about 6:20 p.m.
One victim was dead at the scene and the other died at a hospital, Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison said. Neither were N.C. State students and both men were in their 20s, he said.
One victim was shot in the head, the other in the neck according to authorities.
Authorities are looking for two suspects, both white men, who were last seen in a teal green Chrysler Cirrus with North Carolina license RSJ-7522.
The car has damage to its right front fender and is registered to a Carrboro address.
The shooting happened after the North Carolina State Wolfpack kicked off its season home opener against the Richmond Spiders.
What ever happened to just fighting? This is absolutely horrible.
Toy were you at the game?
