Here is why. My preseason Power numbers had Kansas 69-51 largely because Sracuse lacked depth and had 3 freshman starting. Has Syracuse closed the gap a little probably. My numbers now are 122 to 101 in favor of Kansas and the 5.5 point spread to the cuse and it is 122-106.5 for the Jayhawks. Or a 15 .5 pr edge. So Kansas wins by 7 or 8. Right? Not so fast. Kansas may be a little flat with the knowledge that there coach is splitting, and because the semi game was over after the first 7 minutes on Saturday.
The Cuse on the other hand were pushed for most of the game by texas. They played a perfect game, and shot the lights out. Can they do it again? I don't think so. Freshman starters will catch up with you eventually and this will be the spot. I think Kansas will be alot fresher in the second half and run the Kids from Cuse out of the building late.

Welcome aboard SmashMouth!!! I think everyone is overlooking KU's HELP "D". AS I'm sure you remember KU"S offense wasn't there against DUKE, but their D kept in the game. I also believe that if it's close KU will make the free throws when it counts and the Freshman miss a couple at the end!

Heinrich will break this 2-3 Zone, he's got a nice crossover! He can also hit the three. Miles and Langford can both drive the ball and dish for the 3.
