HERE IS WHY:

I think this is a great spot for Garcia to show what he is capable. The phillies are playing great ball going 7-3 for the last 10. This game is really important to the phillies because they can take the series from atlanta.

I am taking this to consideration: Jones leads the NL with 10 homers, but has been experiencing discomfort in his right quadriceps muscle and may rest for the series finale.

Braves catcher Brian McCann may also miss this game after he had his glove knocked off by a swing Tuesday and eventually left the game with a sore hand. X-rays were negative, and he is listed as day-to-day with a bruised ring finger.

These are two big if`s, but if they in fact do not play today, atlanta offense is going to miss them a lot and that is and edge for the phillies.

Very nice Jimmy ... as a Phillies fan, I usually have a pretty good idea when wagering on them and I have seen many people on the Braves today. The Phillies should take this game. The Braves are not a better team than the Phillies. Although the Phils got off to a horrendous start, they are settling in and when Howard gets things going, they are going to make a run at the Mets and Braves. The Mets will be tough to overtake if their pitching holds up and Pedro comes back healthy but the Phillies will contend for the playoffs as the wild card if they cannot catch the Mets over the course of this long season.

another tough loss. when yopu have a runner in second with no outs and runners on first and second and do not score it is very difficult to win games, and that was exactly what happened yesterday

jimmyboy, can i ask why you only play 1 game per day? you have a very good record, why not expand and try to make a little more dough?

Sure Tig, no problem, I look for the best line and the best chance of winning with that line. It is very hard to find both things together that is why I usually play just one game. But if I find two or three great lines with a very good chance of winning them I sure I will play them.
