I agree.....he was getting blocked and getting lifted....only way to make a play was to go high...he didnt grab mask....he didnt slam him to the ground.....10-20 years ago that was a hell of a play and he gets applauded...now its a15 yard penalty and a fine...

It amuses me where people who complain about penalties and new rules can turn around and the next day say this is right call.....cant have it both ways depending on who ya bet...


Anyways, yea this league has gotten lame...if you hit a guy high and grab face or helmet to helmet then ok.....but this whole "he touched his helmet" bullshit is awful

The problem is consistency. I have seen many defenders lead with thier helmet and no flag thrown. I believe last week I watched Matt Ryan get blasted with his chin strap left around his nose and one of these ole geezer refs standing right there and never through a flag. It happens week in and week out.

Start taking these refs pay away when they miss a call or incorrectly make a call maybe then you will see some consistency. That will never happen. Refs are more protected then the president when it comes accountability.

BTW looks like another prime time total heading over. Go figure.

That's not true at all. Even if I was on Det, I would've said it was a bad call. Almost all of the roughing the passer calls are horrendous now. Fuck off troll.
