You all know what side I root for so if this seems too biased,
I'm sorry up front.

I see two Bruins games that could be good betting sides to take Boston. If anyone has an opposite point of view, bring it on because that is what this forum is supposed to be about.

Tuesday: Boston @ Philly - Philly will be playing their 3rd in 4 nights. First a home & home with Buffalo. Saturday a loss at home vs. the Sabres, now Monday they travel to Buffalo. I'm sure they will try to win the game to keep pace at the top and avenge Saturday's loss which could tire them out just enough for Tuesday's game with the B's...

Thursday: NY Islanders @ Boston - The Isles host the Devils Monday night then have to travel up to Buffalo for a date with the Sabres on Wednesday night. Like I just said, Boston will come home from Philly - short flight, about an hour long - and be resting Wednesday while the Sabres & Isles beat each others brains out the night before. So a potentially tired NY squad will enter the Fleet Thursday night a little weary.

I hope this isn't looking at these two game too much thru Boston eyes but like I said - any other views or opinions are welcome here.

Happy Easter

Jim

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
I'm Back Online!!

I'm Back Online!!

Phila is also playing their 5th game in 7 nights,
and 6th game in 9 nites.

Phila is 3-5-2 last 10, and 2-5-1 last 8 at home.

Boston is 6-0 last 6 on road.

Boston is 2-1 last 3 at Phila

Phlia/Boucher defeated Boston/Dafoe twice this season at Boston (4-1 March 4, and 5-2 Dec 15).

Boucher 5-2-1 vs Bruins, 2.31 gga, .915 save pct
Dafoe is 8-6-2 vs Flyers, 2.44 gga, and .914 pct.

Flyers have scored just one goal in each of last three games.

Phila produced 35 shots on goal last night, while allowing only 17.

Flyers start a four game homestand tonight. They get one nights rest after Bruins game, then take onl Mtl, Pitt and FL.

they gotta be tired and looking toward the rest and easier prey. so I do like Boston here.

any more opinions on these theories?

I like Boston for the above reasons, will also play Carolina ML. They both have great value, and as long as 1 of the 2 wins I can at least push.

Good luck with your picks tonight

Welcome back TerryRay! Good to see you around here.

Saint - Thanks for your thoughts. I'm passing on this one. As well as Boston is playing - I don't see Philly loosing 4 in a row.
