Since we're still waiting for the bowls, found an early bird 2007 ranking site for next season

1. USC
2. Michigan

3. Ohio St
4. LSU
5. Oklahoma
6. FLorida
7. West Virginia
8. Louisville
9. VTech
10. Texas

obviously subject to change with early departures

This year's Rosebowl could perhaps be a glimpse to next year's BCS National Championship game.

You can def. pencil USC in next years BCS NC game.

As far as losing players early to NFL, USC only will lose 1 JUNIOR (Dwane Jarret) to early departure. Everybody else chose to return for their senior season!!! (that is not fair to the rest of the teams) :scared

This year USC only started 1 senior on defense, and 3 seniors on offense. :scared

Everybody is BACK! NOT FAIR!

Then USC follows that up with another top rated recruiting class. (like USC needs more talent)

Scott just like OSU this year MICH will have two Heisman candidate going into next season in Henne and Hart...along with Long their stud offense tackle...I'm not sure what the defense is looking at I could use some help with that Cwood and Dice...but Scott it very well could be MICH in the NC next season...and they'll be pre-season #1...assuming if they win the Rose Bowl of course...

West Virgina will be a team that I'll be curious to see what happens with Slaton and White...if they can get a defense they'll be looking to make some noise in the BCS...

I wouldn't discount Nebraska for a run next year. They bring back 9 starters on offense, including all RB's, WR's and OL. They do lose Zak Taylor at QB, but Arizona State transfer Sam Keller is likely to take over, so that leaves 1 starter to replace and that's fullback Dane Todd who hasn't ran the ball all year. On the defensive side, we will return Zach Bowman who sat out this year at corner to shore up a suspect secondary and a strong recruiting class with DB's from JUCO ranks will make the secondary an asset. Also returning are 4 of the top 5 LB's. Front 4 will need to be replaced, but there is talent waiting in the wings.

one drawback would be the schedule. USC at home and Wake Forrest on the road are the biggies in the non-conference and conference foes , besides the North, include Texas at Austin, A&M & Okie State at home from the Big 12 South.
