dont usually play props but...
team to receive opening kickoff -115

if NE wins toss they will take ball
if NY wins toss coughlin is apt to deferr.1) give manning nerves time to subside,2) for ny to win defence will be key

if ny % to deferr is 20% it makes it a value bet

thots welcome before i pull trigger

Thanks

At a new conference yesterday, someone asked Tom Coughlin whether he would defer. He made light of the question saying something like, "Yeah, I want to give New England the first possession. I want them to have the ball more." He was being sarcastic. In other words, if the Giants win the toss, they will receive.

If Coughlin decides he wants to give the ball to NE first, the game will be immediately stopped and they will stroll in 20 physciatrist to examine him. Cmon bro. Are you kidding me? Tip his hand?

No team has ever deferred in SB. In fact I think it is something like 20 years since it was done at all in an NFL game. COllege coaches do it all the time...and generally quite foolishly.
