I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how the weather will affect this game? Ivan is supposed to be just off the tip of Florida come Friday evening and Miami will no doubt see some effects. I have heard mention of possible postponement once again, but I think it is a safe bet that if they play, it is going to be sloppy.

Does anyone have any thoughts on to who this gives the advantage too? Like last year's game, weather conditions can make the game very difficult to cap and is making me hesitant about playing this one.

I live in Jacksonville and Ivan is not supposed to hit until some time late Sunday or early Monday. They will play the game and I have a buddy that is interning for the Hurricanes this fall and he said as of yesterday the field was in ok shape. they had a shit load of rain, but but the field was in good shape. shouldn't be a sloppy game, and i am taking the noles BIG. the line is moving like everyone's on the NOLES too, but most everybody has the public on MIAMI. that makes me like the noles even more......by the way fluk, did you go to auburn because I just graduated from there....

War Eagle AU972, I am a senior and am graduating in May.

Thanks for the info, lots of help. I am leaning towards the Noles but having trouble getting comfortable with it. Everything on paper appears that FSU is a much stronger team, probably strongest in a few years, and this could be the season they are back to one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the nation. Just trying to get a little better feel before I pull the trigger.

AU972, it's AU999. I'm big on the 'Noles myself, I just hope Rix doesn't continue to have brain farts. Also how do you think the deaths in the Bowden family will affect this game?

Noles big... When Noles do beat Canes it has been by double digits. This should be the year that they get the better of the Canes. I'm praying for no rain.
