Long time lurker, occasional poster. Looked into this game today and some nice trends seem to back it up:
DET/MON under 5 (+110)
Here are the trends I found at that site that covers them well:
DET and MON are a combined 45-58 o/u
DET o/u on road is 8-16
MON o/u at home is 7-17
DET is 21-29 o/u as a favorite
MON is 15-18 o/u as a dog
DET o/u on one day's rest is 8-16
MON o/u on one days' rest is 12-15.
The 2 referees for this game are a combined 27-36 o/u(Furlatt and Masenhoven)
Now I only use trends when I feel they are really important as there are so many I believe the individual capper needs to decide which ones are important and which ones are not. But based on these trends and getting + money to take the under it looks solid. Thanks to this board I do know Yzerman is set to return tonite so I know that must be factored in. And I believe MON gave up 4 goals to TOR in their last game. But they are still averaging only giving up just under 2 goals per game in their last 5. Any thoughts or opinions on this play would be appreciated.
