I myself cannot take Simms seriously, he has not proved anything, he looks like he's dancing to an irish jig in the pocket. The only thing I can rely on this game would be the D for TB, but then again SF hasn't been a home comiing queen this year either. What's your take?

just an ugly game. i agree, simms sucks. gun to my head, i take san fran. they have stepped up with a few big efforts at home this year. 11 points is a lot to lay on the road but, after the debacle in washington, the the niners may have hung it up. at the very least, i think dorsey may be a slight upgrade at qb. smith was a great college qb, but i think the most he'll ever be in the nfl is a decent backup.

Can you take the 'niners seriously?

Chucky is a former QB and knows the passing game. His offense is relegated to short dumps because his QB's are not built for speed. Simms will be "under reins" for awhile, but is that so bad against the niners? Rest assured Simms will not lose this game for TB and their powerful defense will prevail.

the problem is... that defense won't put up enough points to cover the spread. well, i hope not anyways. :scared
