1. The Tigers have a high number of games remaining on the road at ball parks which are considered launching pads for home runs, Chicago, New York and Boston.

2. Baltimore slugger Chris Davis, who has 37 home runs compared to 30 by Cabrera, has a spotty career track record and it is probable he will tail off following the All Star break.

3. Caberea will consistently be facing the mediocre pitching of the AL Central.
