throw your dough at Schilling!!!
I have seen a couple very compelling arguments & writeups4 the Braves today. With all do respect my money will be backing Schilling! This guy is one of the most consistent, toughest, focused professionals we have the privilege to watch in any sport. Look at the consistency 11-4 2.81 era at home, 11-2 2.82 era on road. Venue doesn't factor at all Schilling just competes & wins. He has been lights out in the post season, com on 2 complete games yielding 0 & 1 run. Burkett has been pretty decent, but he is only 4-6 3.58 at the Ted. True the Braves did put up 8 runs last ballgame, but don't forget they were 1 hit by Danny Batista through 7 before the bullpen caved. Batista is no Schilling, I look for Schilling to dominate tonight. He is one of the few athletes that definitely elevates the play of his teammates. He has been waiting for this opportunity his entire career, look for this tough SOB TO carry Arizona and its struggling sticks tonight.
