HP umpire Gorman has called 6 consecutive NL games under the posted total and has yet to call a R X R NL matchup under the posted total. Both pitchers have been erratic lately but I'm counting on a HP ump with an under bias and two mediocre offenses to keep this one low scoring.
2.SF/NYM under 8.5-110
The Mets have lost 10 straight and don't see any reason they won't lose 10 more! They have had no offensive production lately and HP Mike Van Vleet and his wide strike zone won't help the situation. Rather than lay the -160 on the Giants I'd rather take the under and ride the fact that the Giants have a rested bullpen and the Mets can't score. HP umpire has called 4 staright unders and 8 out of his last 10 under.
3.Ariz/Cinc under 9-110
HP Guccionne has called 10 of his 13 NL games under the total. When calling a NL game with a R X R matchup he has favored the under 6 out of 8 times. Bautista has been sharp as of late and Retisma is an honest pitcher. I think this one has a good shot of staying below 9.
4.Seattle/Det under 9-110
Two good pitchers face off here in a pitcher friendly park with a pitcher friendly HP ump. HP ump Onora has called 8 out of his last 10 under the total including his last 5 AL games under.
