Hudson Valley area.....NY
Towson +2 over Northeastern *****
NE beat Tow at home 57-53...Benimon had 6 pts..Since then he has been a tear doing nithing but getting double d's...NE has one of the worst offenses, bad FG%,3pt% and is the worst FT shooting team in the country shooting 62%...they have an good 6'8 scorer and rebounder in Eatherton and a balanced attack..But Towson is right behind Delaware in the standings and just beat them..Benimon and co. get revenge for there home loss and win this outright...

LaLaf -10 over Troy **
Long and Peyton avg 20 pts a game...to much for Troy to handle..Troy still celebrating upset win over Geo St.

Seton Hall-Georgetown
Liked the Hall tonite big but Teague their top inside player might not play and Oliver who avg 12 pts a game might not play also...not sure why they are ????.. but if they don't play will pass.

Ark St -7 over UTA **
Love UTA and hate going against them...they can put some pts on the board...Ark beat them away 82-66...problem UTA has is they can't stop anybody..Ark has some shooters..

MAAC

Quinn +6.5 over Canisius ***
Griffs beat Quinn about 5 or 6 games ago..Quinn hasn't lost since..Griffs have Baron the best player in the conf. He had 40 the other night shooting 3 or 4 -13 from the 3. He went 18-19 from the FT line..Quinn owns the bds with Atzom and Drame..lead the nation,etc.. Hearst is scoring...they should pound the ball inside and try to contain Baron..Griffs are missing a key player in Manhertz..He avg only 6 pts a game but 8 bds...not sure of his status tonite..if he is out Griffs have Heath byhimself in the paint. Perez has been hot but think Quinn can keep this close if they don't let Billy B go off.

Niagara -6 over Fairfield **
Both teams records combined is 11-43...wow..both these teams were good MAAC teams in the past...One can score big time and have the No 1 scorer in the country and rank almost dead last in defense giving up 83 pts a game....the other cannot score and are almost dead last in scoring avg 62 pts a game...one team beat the other by 3 away...but one team has played better in its last 4 games...only losing to Manhattan big..can you guess the team? the Purple...

Marist +2.5 over Peter **
Foxes are 8-8 in the MAAC...have been hot winning 5 of last 6...Lewis,Bowie and Hart are scoring..if Kemp plays tough inside they should get a road win.Peter has Dominque who has been outstanding..but there will be no crowd what so ever in Yantelli tonite...no home court advantage at all...

Tex St -3 over UAB *
Going to the game tonite...it will my last time seeing the Bobcats...Bama is terrible..problems scoring,FG%,3 pt%,FT%,etc...they can rebound because of Rubit...meanwhile Tex St can't do those either.....Tex got blown out by Geo the other day..Kasper pulled all his starters out in disgust...Bama has lost on the road to WKU,Troy,UTA,Ark St,etc by scores of 7,5,8 and 12...they are 2-8 ats on the road..Going with the Bobcats tonite since they have been playing better except the Geo game[ they are 3-4 ats at home}...Rubit is Bama top player..think Tex plays Wright,Gant,Ball and Stern on him and see who defends him the best. Wright has to keep his head together tonite.. I'll be there with about 300 others cheering the Bobcats...

Duke -1.5 over NC **
No comment because everyone else has said so much already..good luck tonite
Towson big play..

my bad..left out a big play

FIU -4.5 over North Texas ****
FIU at home plays tough..lost a 2 pt game to Mid Tenn last week..they have 2 fds in Murphy and Buckles that can score and rebound...NT is still lost esp. on the road... 1 win in the conf....NT's 7 of 8 top scorers are gds...no inside game at all...still one of the worst passing teams and lowest hoops IQ's team...Coach will be fired in a few weeks...no chemsitry,etc,etc... FIU wins big at home...

They'll both play.

With two words, Seton Hall basketball coach Kevin Willard hopes to turn the page with seniors Eugene Teague and Brian Oliver, who were suspended for last week?s loss to St. John?s.

?Fully reinstated,? said Willard, whose team plays host to Georgetown Thursday night. ?I think they understand where I was and what I want, or they?re not going to be a part of the program. It?s pretty simple.?
