- Picking on the side of Matt Clement who is widely inconsistent is worrying, but going up against Ted Lilly is no further cause for concern. Expect Lilly to get hit early and often. The Sox aren't about to drop 2 out of 3 at home to the Jays even if it is April and despite the troubles that the Toronto gave them last year and the offseason additions, the Sox are still a tier above them.

- Really liked what I saw from Davies last year when he was called up, he didn't pitch well against the Giants his last time out but this is a spot for him to rebound at home. While it may seem like a matchup between two of the weaker starters from either staff, Davies is much better than Floyd who I would only trust in a minor league rotation.
