Just one so far, may add a couple later:D

Philly-115x3 (Duckworth/Trachsel)

Trachsel lifetime 6-3, 3.69ERA vs Phi, but struggles mightily in day games, 3-15, 5.43ERA in his last 22. Despite losing his last 2 starts, they were on the road, and Ducky is a much better pitcher at home, 4-0, 2.34ERA in 10 career home starts, 4-1, 2.52ERA in 11 career starts on turf. Acquiring Giambi can only help this team, as Bowa already stated that whoever's struggling on offense in OF, and 1B will be benched in favor of Giambi. I'd imagine this would only motivate the current starters to give a little extra.

Mets already are 5-4 on current road trip, and won't be disappointed to finish 5-5. Don't think they'll have enough gas in the tank to give it all, and will be eager to pack up and go home, while Phils could use this sweep of the division leader Mets as a momentum builder as they go on the road to Montreal.

GOOD LUCK TODAY!!

TJ, if the Phils are down in the late innings, I have some MOJO ready to break out. So :thefinger :thefinger :thefinger :D :thefinger :thefinger :thefinger

Start posting your damn picks, too, you've been on fire lately, share the wealth, brother.

Not sure how this will come out with the cut and paste, but gotta take off now for a while. FWIW, here are some numbers for Phils vs Mets. The numbers heavily favor the Phils, and Mets have barely faced Ducky.

Gotta go with TJ on this one. Not a huge play for me. Losing on my strong play this morning but hopefully Cubs stay way under. I like Traschel alot more than Duckworth in this situation. I was unaware though of his day game stat. Wish I would have saw that first and had a no play. Nonetheless, good luck to all of us.

The JIMMY Strikes AGAIN!!!!

I don't have any money on this game, so this is not me venting from potentially losing a wager. But this joker needs to be the next one fired and better be soon before he runs the Astros to the ground. He makes the biggest bonehead moves in the late innings more than anyone in baseball.

I played the Phillies and the A's today as well! It looks like that choker Mesa is giving away the game in the top of the 9th and the A's woes continue! What dates are you going to be in so. cal? Let me know what days of the week you can catch an Angels game and I will see if I can get you some tickets. Good luck! $$$$

jake, thanks for the offer. I'll be in from 6/1 to 6/14, but probably won't be going to a game until after the 10th. I'll be going to a Dodger game for sure, but since I'll be 10min from the Edison Field, going to an Angels game will probably be a spur of the moment thing. I'll try to get your email addy from Jack.

We were on the right side backing Philly, they sure had their chances to take the game. Ducky threw a gem as I expected, and that's all I could ask for, to have a chance to win. As for my A's pick?? That's all I have to say about that.:p

DRays+250 (Sturtz/Baldwin)
Over 9x2 (listed)

Read a bunch of local papers today, and the feeling in TB is that they believe they can compete vs the M's and the rest of the league. Sturtz is no Pedro, but with Baldwin messing with his delivery, how can you justify -290?? This is a guy who had ERA over 4.5 at Chavez Ravine last yr, one of the most pitcher friendly ballpark in baseball. TB should get a few runs on Baldwin, and if the M's win this game, 9 should be no prob.

Yanks+180x2 (Lilly/Pedro)

Can't resist. I really like Lilly's poise on the mound. Boston lineup is not the same without Manny. +180 with AL champ is way too yummy.

Got it!! Wrote it down before Jack edits it. :D Probably won't make it June 7th because my grandmother will be having knee replacement surgery. Will definitely let you know as soon as I know for sure. Thanks very much. Should be some fireworks in that series.

BTW, the Rally Monkey was out in full force last night, wasn't it!! LOL :D

The incredible streak the HALOS are riding have created quite a stir in Orange County and L.A. Listening to local sports talk radio has been hilarious. The bandwagoners are out in full force and are saying the ANGELS are a lock for the A.L. West and that the potential "lock out" could kill the "dream season". Some jokster even went as far to say the Angels are on the verge of becoming a dynasty. Disney is bound to do something to screw this one up!
Have a good one and good luck DDUBS! $$$$
