LA +160 over Boston...............................

LA is hotter team

LA has hotter goalie of late, and Potvin is 7-1-2 vs Boston

LA hasn't tired much on other long winning road trips this season

LA's Allison will want to show his stuff

LA has dominated Boston in recent seasons

Boston will expect tired and sluggish team, Ha!

enuf reasons for try at +160. I'm mad 'cause I missed the +240 Atlanta last nite!

this is an experiment in picking dogs. Just started

record: 3-1
units +4.25
avg juice: +186

TR,

Wish you had have picked another dog other than L.A. All of us are on Boston. What is L.A.'s record in recent games against the Bruins, just curious? They only play each other twice a year, and now with expansion that isn't even guaranteed. Ott. only plays SJ, Ana.,Dal. & Columbus once each this year. I was reading the other day that Toronto has not played in Nashville in three years and will be playing them for the first time ever in Nash. this year.
I guess see these out of conference games are usually high scoring and unpredicatable.

GL with your play!

yeah Horns, I saw everyone on Boston. I decided to give an alternative opinion.

I've found myself it's most helpful to seach out reasons Not to take a bet, rather than to just find the ones to.

LA 4-2-4 last 10 vs Boston. Goint back to 1996

LA 1-0-2 in 2000

LA 1-0-1 in 1999

They don't meet much, and teams are different each year of course. A winning record such as that helps confidence and pep speeches, more than anything.

tickers sez "bruins lead the all-time series 74-32-13".

I do think Boston will win. Just think LA has 45% chance, so a shot at +160 is justified, I figure. Such is dog reasoning. Could be start of losing streak, typical of such betting. An experiment!

Yeah, it's all feeling thru patterns here.

LA won 4th game in 6 nights on road--against Edmonton 11/22

LA lost 4th game in 6 nights on road--against montreal 12/22, but it was a close 2-1 game, Potvin had bad outing, and no Palffy and Schneider in lineup.

Im not knockin your play in anyway.

But, i really think history between these teams has nothing to do with it. And not just these two, but when people post a record dating back more than a year, how can it make a difference when some teams are completely different the next year, and even more so the farther back you go. Just too much changes in personel to think about records against each other more than the current year.

Just my opinion.

Thanks Sam!

Yeah, very true. That's why I said it helps mainly confidence and pep talks. Not much.

Sure would be nice dog at better price. Looks like E. Coast bias has caught up to the line on LA now.

I hope my dog pic didn't jinx it for everyone! It was the best one out there, that's mainly why I took it.

The Memphis public library here is only a few blocks from Beal St, and is dead, so they let me stay online on this fast computer longer than my alloted 1 hr. Ain't this country grand, in even small ways!
