Kansas City area for who knows how long....
I'm back online for a few days!!!!

Hope everyone has done well!

Buffalo--most certainly go with main guy Biron here. Sabres got 11 goals in first 2 games, then only 15 in last 10. Leading scorer Satan is out tonight.

Carolina--Weekes in goal sez official site. Weekes is 4-1-2 last seven, with 1.67 gga and .948 save pct.

FL--I guess Luongo vs important division rival here. But he played hard with extra concentration last night, so could see Hurme. Edit: FL official site sez Hurme tonight, Flaherty called up to back up on this trip.

WA--Kolzig implies official site, Carpy sent down to Portland ME. Article here sez Kolzig's practices have been good, but will need surgery sometime to ease pain........http://www.faceoff.com/nhl/teams/capitals/news/story.html?f=/news/20021107/021107News2131045.html

Calgary--McLennan, with Turek still out and Szuper depressed and jetlagged from death of grandmother.

NYR--must be workhorse Richter.

NJ---must be workhorse Brodeur tonight. NJ league worst PP at 3 for 49. First Divisional game tonight. 6 of last 7 meetings decided by one goal.

Phila--I would expect Checkmanek.

NYI--I would expect Osgood, with Snow getting last start.

MTL---article here sez Theodore tonight, and Audette back from healthy scratch................http://www.faceoff.com/nhl/teams/canadiens/news/story.html?f=/news/20021107/467942.html

November 7, 1959: Jacques Plante starts a game for Montreal wearing a face mask for the first time in his NHL career

Boston---rumor is Grahame will start tonight, he's backed up a very solid Shields in last two games. Boston is outscoring opposition 28-13 on 5 on 5 play this season. Detroit is scoring dismal 24-21 at even strength. Detroit Better at PP, and Boston PK is one of the worst.

Detroit--Article here sez Cujo most likely out with flu that got Darren McCarty last week (anyone else?).........http://www.detnews.com/2002/wings/0211/07/e08-4382.htm
also read "Through 13 games, the Red Wings are 6-5-2- 0. They didn't drop their fifth game last season until their 29th game on Dec. 5, 2001. "

Columbus--Denis, has started all games I believe.

STL--Brathwaite, see no reason for anything else.

AT--Nurminen sez article here..................http://www.accessatlanta.com/ajc/epaper/editions/today/sports_d3ac21b754cb310b0040.html

Chicago--Thibault, see no reason for anything else.

MN---Fernandez "is the likely choice" sez Star-Tribune.

PHX--Boucher again, with Burke still out. and coach hopes MN/Fernandez 6-3 whupping of Yotes a few weeks back might motivate goalie and team. paper quote "according to star right wing Tony Amonte.

'Do I believe in paybacks in November? Hell yeah,' Amonte said. 'Why not? I believe in paybacks from training camp.

Nashville--Dunham I expect, after Vokoun getting rare back to back starts.

SJ----Nabokov I expect. Official site sez he was first one off ice this morning. Sharks will get back to .500 milestone with a win here. also read: Evgeni Nabokov has started seven of the past nine games against the Predators and is 5-2-1 with a 1.27 goals-against average.

good luck everyone!!
