Bailey should bounce back strong after poor outing. Especially strong as this plate Ump Emmel has (predictably) done 180% from last season's "over" form and has a more generous strike zone this season. Particularly the lefty strike area (tho not as bad as Hirschbeck!), but that bodes bad for Cinci (Cumpton is a control pitcher), with lefty laden lineup Cinci is fielding this morning.
Big dog Pitt is looking pretty good, still...Pitt bullpen is vulnerable..Cinci bullpen been spectacular of late. Seven of last eight Cincinnati games stayed under total. Bailey's starts vs Pitt have gone under 7-4 since 1997...
