Missed my last 7 plays since the Wings W on Sunday, which had got me over .500 and in the black. It doesn't get much worse than these past 3 days but at least I'm not really pounding anything...friggin' 'Canes...was out to lunch with TBay--0-4 on the road (now 5) was a warning that I chose to ignore, but that 'Canes call looked right as they led 1-0 and then 2-1. Toolbox Ward let in a pretty soft goal to tie it then the hammer fell on those wasted dollars. Kings were a no-show against an inspired team. Jackets worth a shot today at current prices, though it's backup time in goal as they just played, of course, yesterday. At least I didn't have the Stars ALSO.

Don't want to do too much today with my fading choices. Like the Lightning, Bruins, Flyers and Penguins too, but that shows in my IFs. Don't like 'em that much. Like the Rangers and really like the Senators, with or without Spezza.
Speaking of the Sens, there's currently a prop available at the freak on NHL monthly points for November. The Senators are listed at a generous 12.5 points, with the over a lovely -110 (my guess is not for long). Sens play 14 games and looking at the schedule I'd say that they can win a good 10 or 11 of them. If they stay relatively healthy, anyways, which may be a current concern with the Spezza groin thing. Still, this looks too good to pass up on. I don't like to tie my money up for long stretches--a month in this case--but this looks like gold. I'm just trying to decide how much I want to risk on it. Check out their schedule yourself...they play 8 or the 14 at home and don't touch the Rangers, Wings, Hurricanes, Sharks, Flames, and a couple of others that might give them trouble; schedule looks pretty easy for them this month. I gotta try it. -110 won't last long, I don't think.
