over 11 STL/Bost -110
under 7 LA/Det +121
KC -1.5 +140
after days off wading thru way too many promising pics, I see hardly any today! weird...
taking the over in Boston just because no overwhelming reason not to.
backing off the Toro over as Suppan is way too unpredictable and Hendrickson is pitching for his spot in the majors today. tho the pens here may just give up the overs themselves.
Helling, by the way, may be pitching for his spot in rotation today, and Harang will be for his sat.
I found no statements that TX's Lewis will be pitching for his today. the only fine starts he's had is when I read in press that he had his rotation spot on line that day.
Ishii is very tough on teams that are seeing him for the first time. Bonderman can be really decent (tho not usually at home) but what the heck, I'm taking the under again.
KC stranded 20 guys last few games vs AZ and loaded bases a few times. Should break thru today against Patterson, but KC isn't what they were earlier..
almost took them Devil Rays! they really should win today vs that terrible Cinci pitcher. But Cinci wins and TB just doesn't. TB nearly erased 6 run deficit last night and lost by one run, but Cinci never really was in trouble. I fear TB will get nice early lead today and Cinci come thru with classic late clutch hitting and win again...
TX is thinking of trading Urbina, one of few bright spots in pitching staff. Sounded crazy to me, but this columnist explains why it isn't..............http://www.dfw.com/mld/dfw/sports/baseball/6070847.htm
didya notice Jose Lima signed minor league contract with KC, and Bierbrodt did same with Cleveland?
Went 5-3 yesterday, +1.58 units.
That takes it to +11.37 units overall (137-120-3).
nine losing days last 29.
all (but one two unit so far) flat bet 1 unit risk per pic (for example, a +135 pic would pay 1.35 units, a -135 pic would pay 0.74 units).
for fun parlay pics: 1-13 (-11.79)
any comments?
good luck all!!
