ATL 6.0 u ?125
PHI ?1.5 ?160

PHI could be in a dangerous spot here. They?ve been playing lights out vs. all comers and this might be the time when they take a breath. There?s no way they can get motivated to play ATL and ATL is a team playing well, 3-0-1 ATS last 4 games, two of those were vs. OTT and TOR. Special teams have also been good for ATL, PK 81.8% last 5 games and that could prove key as it seems PHI has been living off of their PP 33.3% last 5 games. ATL is 4-2 ATS this year when getting +1.5 goals and I don?t see where ATL has played better leading up to a spot where they are getting the +1.5 price.

PLAY: ATL +1.5 +140 (2 Units)

VAN 5.0 ?110
STL ?0.5 ?175

Have to go with the home team here. The home team has won the last 4 meetings and STL is a much better home team than VAN is a road team. VAN away is 9-14-1 ATS with a SD of ?0.75gpg and as a RD has a SD of ?0.91gpg. VAN after a win away is 1-9 ATS. VAN on 1 DR is 12-14-2 with a SD of ?0.14 and on 1 DR after a win are 6-8-1 ATS. STL at home is 15-6-1 ATS and as a HF have a SD of +1.41gpg. STL is 9-4 ATS after a win at home. STL on 1 DR is 12-6-1 ATS with a SD of +1.32gpg and 7-3 ATS on 1 DR after a win. The contrast of VAN as a fav. 10-4-3 and as a dog 10-18-1 (Not incl. games at +1.5) make the home team the play.

PLAY: STL -0.5 -175 (3 Units)

BUF 5.0 u-130
LA -0.5 ?155

Going to continue plating against BUF on no rest. BUF is now 2-9 ATS in that spot and 0-5 ATS with no rest after a win. BUF SD overall is +0.07gpg, but that drops to a woeful ?1.18gpg on no rest. BUF is 4-1 ATS last 5 games but vs. ANA/NJ/PIT/VAN/MIN not exactly the top of the league. I think you have to respect the streak LA is on a 6-1 ATS streak last 7 vs. NSH/SJ/BOS/NYR/NJ/NYI/FLA certainly more impressive that 5 of those were on the road. Like the defense, 1.80gpg and PK is at 100% last 5 games. Would like to see LA score a few more, but the way they?re playing at home combined with BUF problems playing with no rest, 2 or 3 goals should be enough to get the win.

PLAY: LA ?0.5 ?150 (3 Units)

PLAY: BUF/LA UNDER 5 ?130 (2 Units)

SD is Scoring Differential. Average goals scored for, minus average goals scored against. It's easier to have just one equatiion than typing scoring averages

MAN! ATL outscored 4-0 in the 3rd! I guess that's why they're called the Thrashers. THEY get thrashed:mad: Kings are playing like Queens so far, going to be one of those nights:shrug:

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Whoa! I just dropped by to check scores. I had no inkling Storr would be in net for LA. First eight shots on goal in this game and 3 score! It's a backup goalie shootout for sure. Did anyone get word before hand about Storr?

Your fine STL pick came thru. Foolish me didn't have the guts to take it.

I tell ya, ATL getting thrashed in the 3rd and an EN goal with seconds left makes my total a loser. I guess the hockey gods were out to dinner last night:rolleyes: Let's get 'em today folks!
