Oddly enough there are no teams from Ohio in the Ohio Valley Conf. Figure that one out...:shrug:


When Akron went to div 1 back around 1980 they joined the OVC and around '85 or so went to the NCAA tourney as OVC champ. The Zips very nearly took down #2 seeded Mich as a #15 seed. At the time the Zips were coached by none other than a young Bob Huggins.
