Record: 8-5
Won a close on with Seton Hall last night. I believe it was 71-71 with about a minute left...Louisville goes on a 9-0 run to end the game.

Charlotte -13.5

Niners are back home after an impressive road trip. Looking for payback, as they got smoked at Davidson last year. Davidson struggling with a new mix of players as they lost most of their key personnel from the past couple of seasons. Their defense has been lacking, allowing 45% FG, not a good sign against a team like Charlotte that is shooting 50% from the floor and tends to light things up from behind the arc at home. Turnovers have been a huge problem for Davidson...committed over 25 against each quality opponent they have faced (Texas Tech, North Carolina, Georgetown) This is a rivalry game (playing for the Hornets Nest Trophy) so I think you'll see Charlotte really put the foot down on the throat if they get a chance...lots of pressure defense and hopefully lots of 3's going in the basket for the Niners.

i don't know hoops, i kinda liked unc-c @-13 but the line is at -15- now. that looks pretty close to where these teams have played at charlotte in years past with similar teams. do you trust the 49ers to cover the higher number? i think i may just settle for a small play on sac st tonight and let this one go.

Loop- At 15+ I would pass. I know I make it sound like it should be blowout city, but getting a line two pts worse than it was isn't worth it IMO. Good luck with Sac St if you make them a play.

feel the same way about getting in on the back end of a line move. maybe it's me, but in ncaa hoops the game margin seems to fall in the middle of more of those line moves than you would believe randomness would allow. wish i had taken charlotte @ -13. g/l tonight with the play.

how do you feel about sac st. i think the new coach has got the team improving. the homecourt should cure some shooting problems and help them stay with the five.

Loop- No opinion on Sac St. For the life of me, I've never been able to cap the smaller California schools very well, so I tend to stay away from the St Mary's, Sac St's, Pacifics, Cal-Polys, etc,. of the world.
