if you guys need an example of how to grind out a few dollars, check me out for the last two nights. 2-2 for a couple gained bucks on tuesday and 2-2 for a couple gained bucks on wednesday. by the weekend, i may have enough profit to buy a case of labatt light. might have to settle for nattie or the beast at this rate of return.
playing these for getaway day:
houston and new york under 8.5 (-120)
san diego padres (+125) over chicago cubs
cleveland indians (-121) over toronto
houston and new york played through an extra inning game made longer by two rain delays. gotta think that both lineups are gonna be lame hitting the ball, especially with the super early start damn near thursday morning. zambrano is one of those pitchers that can be almost impossible to hit when he has his good stuff. the problem is that he walks waaayy too many guys and thats what scares me. but i dont think houston is going to be sharp with this day game after a long night game. victor should have success in his first game at shea
clement has pitched great vs san diego in his career but he gets no run support. peavy has been incredible on the road this season (1.70 era in 6 starts). just think the padres are worth the dog price.
taking a chance on the tribe to keep their sizzling play going. lee has been shaky the last month (make that REAL shaky) but he had a very encouraging start in chicago last weekend until one bad inning. toronto just not hitting the ball worth a damn right now. cleveland finding ways to win and keep the pressure on the twins. tribe lineup should have josh phelps in it for the first time since the trade. lilly shut down cleveland two weeks ago but cleveland just seems to find ways to win.
