Hey guys. Hope everyone is kicking ass. Yesterday, went 1-1, so that makes me 2-1 in MLB this week. Had a little extra time to look at things this morning since I had a doctor's appointment. Here's what I like....
I like Washington to sweep the Mets. The Nats have won 3 in a row against the Mets in low scoring battles. Today, you have a pitching matchup where you have 2 guys that aren't gonna "wow" you. Tom milone for the Nats and Chris Schwinden for the Mets. Schwinden is only making his 2nd career start. Last time out, he gave up 5 runs in 5 innings against the Braves.
I know the numbers tend to support an over bet, but the Mets bats just scare me. They are cold and I can't feel confident in saying play the over....but in the next breath, I could see where this game ends up 7-5 or something like that. There's just no way to know. So I am staying away from the total.
Bottom line, the Nationals are the confident pick this afternoon. They'll come in motivated to get the 4 game sweep.....and they'll get it.
