I'll take it but with system picks 5-0 the past 2 days and system sides kicking butt pretty good I feel I should have done better these past 2 days. Still a 2-day winning streak, so whathey. Went 4-0 on the moneyline, 0-1 on the runline, 3-2 on totals (much better than system totals did) and 2-5 on my wasted IFs & parlays?actually the Yanks going over the 4.5 helped an IF play make it to game #5. System sides almost sweeped the NL but missed three 62% calls in the AL (Verlander goes from no-hit stud a couple months ago to major fade material now?...gimme a HUGE break one time; Burnett keeps Jays 1-0 lead into the 7th?the 7TH?c'mon corksvckers, this clown just gets off the DL and you can muster but 1 stinkin' run off him??Jays O is major pathetic vs righties?meaning the majority of Major League pitchers; Dice-K surrenders 2 hits to go along with the 2 runs he allows and the Bosox can't even turn that into a win?gotta figure?Jackson has been looking pretty good for the past month or longer and D'Rays just diced-K recently so it was a stupid play (of the 3 mentioned, anyways?only had 'em on a parlay but all 3 D'Backs+gimme a huge break one-time parlays failed due to the latter. Where was I?...Where am I?...

I looked at the lines, today, before 'capping the games, for a change, as I didn't have time to do it before but I had a chance to peruse the lines. I don't think it affected anything but I sure didn't see anything that I liked on first look at the lines (actually A's and fla-Stl over I grabbed early). Turns out that the Indians are somehow a system pick by today's numbers (WERE a sytem pick?I missed the +109 briefly available?still value on the play, I figure, but NO syspickstoday); both Westbrook and Robertson have poor numbers vs the opponent but Westbrook is the much hotter starter and the Indians bats are in slightly less of a slumber than the Tigers' (not just including yesterday); worth a shot but I won't pound any team visiting Comerica, I don't figure. Nationals, maybe; Mariners, maybe; Bosox, maybe, if I can find a way to bring the price down some (always the runline I guess?sigh?).

Totals is where it looks good to be played todayed. Just yesterday or the day before I was commenting about all the system UNDER calls that were coming up with very little over action?well, today I've got five (four-and-a-half, really) OVERs posted and I think I'll be an overmeister for a change instead of my usual preference?the under plays. Got some umpire help but it may not be needed. I might try the lot, I dunno?gonna look at some team totals and maybe find some goodies there. Gotta do it relatively quickly as I'm running on fumes after, currently, a 27-hour run of consciousness. My pillow misses me.

Will post what's played. Got bugs? Get Raid.

keep up the great job there fine sir:SIB
I was vey interested in the overs for this card myself, namely Tampa Bay, Seattle, St. Louis as the starting ptchers alone in those games could give up enough to hit the number. :scared

.zwhatiwasthinking...

GL on 'em

some possible team totals
(w/relative system number; + for overs, etc.)

Rockies ov6 +120 (+7)kinda high for a home team total

padres un4 -125 (-9)maybe not the way they're hitting this series

braves ov5.5 -135 (+12)
Reds ov5 -125 (+12)
--pretty much making the game total over a must for me; Carlyle has bad numbers vs the Reds while Ramirez is still pretty fresh but has been pretty bad for (small parts) of the past 3.1 seasons; I'm making lots of cents...should keep comments to a miniminiminimum

fla ov4.5 -105 (+8)Marlins hitting pretty good...for weeks, now...just not winning
Cards ov5 -125 (+12)looks even better; Vanden Hurky is total fade material but his last decent game was against these very Cards (but they've recovered since)
--game total over looks fantastic

clev ov5 -110 (+7)0 then 11...and vs a better pitcher for the NON-ZERO...hard to figure these guys out but some continuation is expected; Indians hitting .317 last 10 vs L

a's ov5 -120 (+12)A's hitting quite well and face a good candidate for pummellage in Hammel (and BP...these relievers will collapse soon, despite looking decent in the series vs Boston (at times)())
--have TB at +3 as Gaudin has poor numbers vs BUT D'Rays in a major funk at the dish

bosox ov5 -125 (+10)quite possible against the continually overrated Danks, not to mention a crappy pen; 6 should cover the runline...shouldn't it?!?
Chisox un4 -145 (-12)Beckett with a poor 4.60 era vs these Chisox (he's 2-0 in 3) but he's struck out 22 in 15.2 IP vs; he's very hot right now and Chisox sticks are rather cold
--Bosox lose this game and I'll stop posting
:com:

...for 18 minutes

mariners ov5.5 -105 (+9)Loe has poor career numbers vs the M's; on top of that, I believe his last start was a real illsuion (re 5 IP, 0 runs)...he allowed 8 baserunners over 5 innings and was lucky to survive, methinks...he was facing the Twins who are (or at least were (and still likely are)(())) in a MAJOR funk at the plate; he likely takes his, here
--have Rangers at only +1 but that might be a little too unkind to them after just scoring 39 in a road doubleheader...Weaver with bad numbers vs but has been decent for a while now
--adjust that Rangers number some, for their output yesterday (especially with it happening just before returning to Ameriquest), factor in the SP's poor numbers vs opponent, and add in a dabb of Mariners OPS .969 over their past 10 and you've got a good recipe for an over...the ballpark is just major icing and warrants a lot of 10.5 to 11 totals anyway
...was thinking about trying the M's but I might, instead, count on this line of reasoning and hope that 2 decent bullpens don't fvck it up for me (us?)

Wow...I'm finally done.
First couple were real turn-offs but a few later on sounded good.
I'm going to post this so I can have a better look myself.

Hope I don't 'pay the price' today (for what, I'm not sure<<<?!?!>>>).
More action than I expected, but the totals get a decent portion of it from me for a change. I like all the plays listed and I think that they'rereeirere aoill well thunk up, I'm just too incoherent to try and postulate any more angulations this evens.

The weekend shall bring better tidings. I can feel it.
(tomorrow?if I ever awake?will be a big day for me as I'll 'cap Fri-Sat and at least have a look at Sunday)
I've stomped the books for two straight weekends now and just need to keep do-hoo'in what comes nats'rally (in the 7th?why not?...they won as a system pick a couple days back so why not as a 53% call ([>coin-flip<])?...53's are 70-60 in 2007 (53.8%) not counting the past 3 days as I've got (flippin') updates to do tomorrow as well.
Bottom line is I will Rock or else >>>shock<<< this weekend.
Bank on it.
I must book.

whoo!!!

party on!!

I just woke up and checked the scores...I like what I see...

...I LOVE what I see!

Cleared 10 units just before the weekend, where I've been smoking, lately.

Expecting good things.

I'm a bit behind and am about to 'cap Friday (should take an hour, casually, puffing away)

Will have the goods posted by about 4 am eastern...kinda late today but nothing I can do
('cept maybe keep on winning?!?!)

August has become EXTREMELY enjoyable.

:00hour

Thanks for the words.

very many thanks for the kind words
:)

taking me a bit longer to do Friday as I had to do a couple of days worth of updates first

done the NL

now I need a nice, hot, trippy kinda shower
(then tackling AL)

for the NL I've found one system pick...looks sweet...I'm on the

Pirates

so far for Friday.
Albers is major fade material right now while Snell has looked pretty decent lately (esp. that K/BB ratio...24/6 (4.0) over his past 3 starts. His numbers against Houston are mediocre but in the lone meeting this year:
vs. HOU 1 1 0 0 0 0 0 6.0 4 2 2 1 1 11 3.00 0.83 .182
he did failrly well (AT Minute Maid...4 hits, 1 BB, 11 K's (2 er due to homer) over 6 IP.
Hitting is no comparison between these teams lately, 7 day OPS numbers:
Astros .654
Pirates .938
Pitt's really tearing it up on this road trip.
I've got Pitt 64% for this one.
Maybe their highest road figure of 2007.
-102 gives a +13 value indicator (very good luck)
Hoppy

need that shower
then will hope for some AL action
