Well, inter-league has been shaky at best for me so far, and I haven't had much luck with totals, so what the hell........I'm going to combine them for my one play for today. :nono:

BRAVES / TIGERS under 8.5 (+107) Both games in this series have gone under so far, and during that time, the weather was much warmer and ball should have been flying better. After the thunderstorms swept through Detroit yesterday, it is much cooler today (65 F), and it appears the wind is blowing in from left (thanks for the info IE). I also like the pitchers going to the mound: Maroth is 1-2 in his last 5, but has an ERA of 2.62 and has only walked 4 batters during that span. Ortiz is a 20 game winner from last year, and although he comes out sometimes and couldn't find the strike zone with a search warrant, he generally bounces back well in the game following a rough outing (the Phillies tagged him pretty good in his last start 6/05).

I could be begging for trouble here, but I'm gonna give it a go. ;)

Good Luck today,

Sharky

hey sharky i really like the braves in this spot today even though the are only 6-11 in day games. they are just the better team and i look for them to bounce back after last nites loss.

any thoughts on the side

Hey Spider.....I couldn't really come up with anything here, although I would lean slightly to the Braves, simply because I feel they are the better team. However, that said, these teams have played the first couple of games pretty well equal, and I can't really justify laying 138 against Detroit at home when Maroth has been pitching well lately. That was just my thinking, though.
Good Luck. ;)

Mean Green.....You didn't jinx anything. I'm struggling a little bit the past few days, so I think I'll just cut my losses here for the day, and hope I can find something a little more appealing for tomorrow night. I'll be keeping an eye on the Pirates game. Good Luck to you. ;)

Boiler.......They played that game last night in under 2 hours. A repeat performance would suit me just fine. :D

hey sharky looks like we both got burnt on the atlanta game. take a look at the under in the jays/dodgers game as ishii and towers should be on tonite. both teams are struggling a bit at the plate. no delgado for the jays and the dodgers are swinging the bats that great .
should be another low scoring game, seems like alot of the games in the skydome are low scoring this year. a complete opposite of last year.

take it easy

Oh, I promised myself I wouldn't do this, but I had a few beers at the golf course, and apparently that's just about enough for some liquid courage to set in......:drinky:

ANAHEIM ANGELS (-177) Hey Anaheim - grow some bawls and don't let the Brewers march into town and push you around. ;)
These bats can't remain quiet for that long, and I think tonight is the night they come to life to avoid the sweep. Aaron Sele shouldn't hurt, either.

Good luck Sharky with that Halos play -- Sele has been solid and sweeps really seem to be tough to come by in these interleague tilts.

Ah, Cooz......As Homer Simpson would say......"Alcohol....The cause of, and the solution to, all my problems." :D

This looks like another bad choice.....I looked at this game all day, but it's 4-0 Brewers already. :nono:

C'mon Angel bats............
