3rd-

I like both the 5 and 6 here. The 5 has only run once, beating 7 of the 12 horses he faced and he was finishing solidly. The 6 is probably the horse to beat off the 2nd for M45000. Its hard to figure out who will get the lead here since its pretty much a paceless race. I'm hoping the 5 gets sent.

4th-
The scratches have made the 8 Barnard Man look very tough here. So many of these have little or no turf form so if I go exactas, I'd toss out anything under 10-1 underneath. Hopefully the 2 and 4 will be big enough prices to use underneath.

6th-
The 6 and 7 will be tough here. The program favorite is the 3 but being claimed away from Shuman is enough to keep me off her. I thought the 7 ran well on a dead rail Feb 10. The 6 horse comes in from NY where she had been competitive.

8th-
The 3 Powerful Appeal got caught up in a 45 4/5 and 1:10 1/5 pace in a 1 1/2 mile race and still finished 2nd. Dancer's Cielo, the 5 is the horse he will have to beat. The odds won't be as good as the 10-1 on the program as 2 contenders, the 4 and 7 scratched.

Caught the 4th race exacta although the winner was only 4-5. I used the 3,5 and 10 underneath and when the 3 ran 2nd at 23-1, I was a bit disappointed in the 17-1 exacta.
Powerful Appeal did wire the field at 5-1 on the turf.
